Outloud is an award-winning intersectional, CALD-focused social impact arts organisation that creates genuine, meaningful, inspiring opportunities for young people in Western Sydney. We give a voice to people whose stories would otherwise go untold. We provide outreach, support and ongoing guidance and engagement with local young people and artists. We broaden young peoples’ experiences – making art a portal of empowerment and a platform for voice. We tackle tough social issues, such as domestic violence and social inequality that are touching the lives of these youth.
Our projects are evidence-based, and draw on strengths-enhancing, skill building projects that provide artistic, playful and meaningful socially and culturally beneficial experiences to under resourced or marginalised youth from Western Sydney.
