IE Run Club fundraising for RESULTS

Join us for this year's City2Surf to raise funds for RESULTS.

Funds raised will be directed towards RESULTS’ COVID-19 policy influencing work which aims to ensure that poor communities in our region are able to protect themselves from COVID-19 and recover from the impacts of the pandemic.

Runners of all abilities are welcome who are committed to having fun, supporting each other and developing a fitness mindset. Our aim is to support members in their running objectives, provide organised running meetups and ultimately help end global poverty!

If the City to Surf does not go ahead this year the fundraiser will still happen! It will take the form of a fun, creative activity where we can get together (virtually) and get active in our local neighbourhood in the spirit of the City2Surf.

RESULTS believes that with the right political leadership and strategic investments, we can, collectively, bring an end to global poverty. Over the last thirty years, RESULTS has played a pivotal role in convincing the Australian Government to make several key investments in vaccines, child and maternal health and TB, HIV and malaria. These investments have changed the lives of millions of men, women and children throughout our region.

As COVID-19 sweeps the globe, the work of RESULTS is more important than ever before. We continue to be a voice for the poor, encouraging our government to invest in global health and to support countries in our region to respond to and recover from the impacts of the pandemic.
