I plan to walk the 2020 City2Surf this year on Sunday 18 September to help RESULTS increase Australia's support for poor communities being impacted by COVID-19.

It’s also to make up for last year when you sponsored me and I stuffed up my diary and ended up on a plane (remember what they are! ) Instead of on the city to surf route!

So please help me reach my fundraising goal by walking with me or sponsoring me in a City2Surf walk (Or both!).

We all know COVID-19 is having a devastating impact on poor communities throughout the world. Health services, education, and economies are all suffering. As a result of the pandemic, 80 million children will miss out on being vaccinated, we will see a spike in TB and AIDS related deaths. Global hunger is set to double with 100 million people being pushed into extreme poverty.

Through the power of advocacy, every $1 you donate to RESULTS will unlock at least $300 plus in critical anti-poverty funding

My City2Surf fundraising will help magnify our voice as we call on our Government to help poor countries respond to and recover from the pandemic. We are calling for vital medical equipment including PPE and testing kits; increased investment in malaria, polio and TB to prevent a second global health crisis and tailored support to kick start economic recovery in our Region.
