Our team* will walk the 2020 City2Surf this year virtually from Melbourne on Sunday 18 October and help RESULTS increase Australia's support for poor communities being impacted by COVID-19.

*please note that I have an injury and will walk as far as I can

We all know COVID-19 is having a devastating impact on poor communities throughout the world. Health services, education, and economies are all suffering. As a result of the pandemic, 80 million children will miss out on being vaccinated, we will see a spike in TB and AIDS related deaths. Global hunger is set to double with 100 million people being pushed into extreme poverty.

Your City2Surf fundraising will help magnify our voice as we call on our Government to help poor countries respond to and recover from the pandemic. We are calling for vital medical equipment including PPE and testing kits; increased investment in malaria, polio and TB to prevent a second global health crisis and tailored support to kick start economic recovery in our region.
