Ausdance NSW is the peak body for dance. We provide advice, advocacy, and dance programs in different contexts and environments, both directly and indirectly and in partnership with other state and federal government departments, local government authorities, dance companies, organisations, educational institutions, businesses, and dance studios.
The last two years has tested the resilience and creativity of our community. Yet here we stand united to recover together and strengthen the dance community as we do.
Even in a crisis we know we've made a difference! It may have been listening to your concerns, connecting you with a dance colleague, or representing and advocating for the dance sector at a local, state, or national level. It may have also been providing you with up-to-date information on public health orders or offering you the opportunity to join us at one of our countless webinars, seminars, facilitated sector meetings, online wellbeing check ins and/or events. We may have also directed you to grants, funds and business support to assist you in getting through the toughest of times.
With uncertainty around our funding our future as an organisation is unclear. We need urgent funds in the next few months to keep doing what we love to do.
By supporting Ausdance NSW at this critical time you will be helping us continue to strengthen and support the dance sector.
No donation is too small:
$35 pays for one hour of grant writing advice over the phone
$150 pays for an artist from an under-represented community to share their expertise with colleagues at an industry forum
$500 will enable us to host one think tank session to address priority issues for the industry
$1000 provides a week-long residency for a DAIR artist
Ausdance NSW is passionate about the role of dance in enriching lives. We ask for your support so that we can continue ensuring we nurture a thriving dance community in New South Wales.
